A lifelong volleyball enthusiast, Taryn played competitively from age six through 24, excelling in both indoor and beach formats. She earned numerous athletic awards during her collegiate career.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Taryn relocated to Florida in 2016 to play volleyball for the University of North Florida, where she met her soon-to-be husband. After completing law school in St. Petersburg, she returned to Jacksonville to launch her legal career with Cobb & Gonzalez. In her free time, Taryn enjoys reading, cooking, playing beach volleyball, and exploring the outdoors with her fiancé and their chocolate labradoodle, Brew. She currently serves on the University of North Florida Athletics Hall of Fame Committee and anticipates confirmation by month’s end as a member of the University of North Florida Athletics Executive Council.
